Giving Back Through Vets to Drones

Vets to Drones is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2023 — built by veterans, for veterans — that connects service members leaving the military to careers in unmanned systems. Its programs run from free Part 107 certification prep and flight training through mentorship, job placement, K–12 STEM education, disaster-response crew training, and conservation mapping.

Our story

Vets to Drones found me in a time of major upheaval and life transition. Through the training and support of like-minded veterans, I was able to obtain my Part 107 certificate. Vets to Drones then continued to support me as I built on that to create a thriving commercial drone business. The Veteran Members of Vets to Drones helped me change my life.
